Pebble Creek Junior Swim Team

We are excited for year three of the Pebble Creek Junior Swim Team!

JUNIOR TEAM EVALUATIONS WILL TAKE PLACE ON MONDAY, MAY 19TH FROM 5PM-7PM

We will not be registering Junior Team members before evaluations and we will have a separate registration form that is different from the regular team, per the new regulations with the new registration system.

You are welcome to come any time in that 2-hour timeframe. Please plan for about 15 minutes. See below for what to bring:

  • Make sure your swimmer has a well-fitted suit on that is free from ornate designs that could pose a safety risk
  • A pair of swim goggle
  • A towel.

After evaluations, we will point you in the right direction for registration.

Again, please do not register your JT swimmer on the team registration page. ALL JT swimmers must be evaluated.

How do I know if my child is ready for the Pebble Creek Junior Team?

  • Your child must be able to swim, the Junior Team program is not the same as swim lessons for non-swimmers.
  • They should be comfortable putting their head in the water with goggles on.
  • They should be comfortable with physical separation from parent/guardian and an ability to follow instructor directions within a reasonable timeframe.
  • They should be able to front crawl or doggie paddle approximately 15 meters, while keeping their head above water (complete submersion is a safety risk), and understand how to hold onto the wall or lane line until they can be reached by a coach or CIT.
