2023 Pebble Creek Swim Team Coaches

Meet the 2023 Pebble Creek Swim Team Coaching Staff

Sara Gaston

Head Coach

Hi everyone! My name is Sara Gaston and I will be the head coach at Pebble Creek!

I have been swimming for 19 years, with 11 of those years being in the GRAL league when I swam for the Mechanicsville Marlins. I also swam competitively for PSDN and BAC for 8 years until I moved onto college swimming. I am graduating this spring from Washington and Lee University where I swam backstroke and freestyle for the past four years. At W&L I was able to become an All-American, 11x conference champion, and qualify for NCAAs – but what I really learned was the value of being on a team and how to be a leader!

For 8 years I have worked as a swim instructor on various teams, but these past two years I have been lucky enough to be a head coach in JRAC where we were able to win a division championship. I am so excited to be back in GRAL to coach and I am looking forward to a great season.

Tyler Hill

Assistant Coach

Hi, my name is Tyler Hill, and I will be the Assistant Coach for the Piranhas this season.

I am currently a Junior at MHS, and have been swimming for over 10 years now. I first began swimming when I was six for the Mechanicville Marlins. I swam a total of 5 years for the Marlins before moving to Pebble Creek, where this will be my 7th year as a Piranha. I have been swimming year round since starting at the Patrick Henry YMCA when I was eight. Later, In high school, I joined the MHS Swim Team and started swimming year-round for the Hanover Hurricanes where I have been swimming ever since.

My favorite stroke is butterfly, and I have always enjoyed hanging out with my teammates during the swim season. Outside of the swim team, I am also a lifeguard at the Pebble Creek Pool. This will be my second season as a coach for PCST and I look forward to another awesome season.

Izzie Lindsey

I enjoy making friendship bracelets, going to the lake, hanging out with friends, and reading. I have been swimming since I was nine years old and have swam for the PCST for two years. I am so excited to see all of you this summer!
